FAQ: Connecting your charger
to a WiFi network

STEP 1. PREPARATIONS
  1. Download EVtrip mobile app from app page
  2. Disable Bluetooth in the mobile phone for 5 seconds
  3. Enable Bluetooth again
  4. Make sure that in proximity to the charger your mobile phone reveals desired WiFi network
STEP 2. PAIRING WITH CHARGER OVER BLUETOOTH
  1. Open EVtrip App and execute login if required
  2. Go to MY CHARGERS section of the App main menu
  3. click on your CHARGER
  4. click on SETTINGS
  5. click on GET SETTINGS
  6. For the first time your phone will ask for pairing BLE PASSKEY (it can be found on the sticker inside of the charger)
  7. Once paired SETTINGS PAGE will open
STEP 3. SETTING WIFI NAME AND PASSWORD
  1. When SETTINGS page is open you can select (insert) desired WiFi network's NAME and PASSWORD
  2. WiFI name and password are the same as those used to connect the smartphone to the WiFi network (Check name and password on your router)
  3. Click PUSH SETTINGS as soon as WiFi Name and Password are inserted
  4. GREEN tick means that settings are saved, otherwise RED cross appears
  5. Click REBOOT DEVICE to reboot charger and connect it to the WiFi
COMMON PROBLEMS
  1. Charger supports only 2.4GHz WiFi networks, make sure that network you are connecting to supports this frequency
  2. If SETTINGS page does not open (STEP 2, point 7) please:
    2.1. DISASSOCIATE your Charger from your phone via your mobile phone Bluetooth settings if previously it was associated
    2.2. Retry starting from STEP 1
